Once upon a time, when I lived in what is now American Canyon, I could see part of the longer arts of the track from the fields that were near my neighborhood. Those fields are all houses now....
I did see Petty and Pearson run there in the late 70s once. I thin it was a Winston West event, not cup though.

Jones to run 2nd RGM car at Infineon: the Toyota / Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway entry list now shows P.J. Jones in a 2nd Robby Gordon Motorsports car, the #4 [onwers car# is 204] Jim Beam / Meanrd's Toyota.

Brian Simo got sent to the house. They didn't show who were there other 2 but Simo had a blown engine during his qualifying lap.
