I agree with ya Shotz but me and my friend Sandy only "check out the babes" to make fun of those who wear spiked heels and salon hairdos to the races.

One of my favorite things to do ... and I do this every race I go to ... is to go to the fence as close as security will let me and "feel" the cars going by at top speed, engines roaring and oooo I'm getting shivers just thinking about it.

My friend Debbie did that too, Scooters. Sometimes she would even climb the fence to get to the pits (she was only 4'9'', so the worst thing that ever happened to her when she got caught was a threat to call her parents. That chick could get away with a lot. Seriously, she usually got an autograph album or a lollypop for her troubles.)

Your friend Debbie sounds like my kinda gal. She'd be a hoot to hang out with.

She really was a hoot to hang out with. A little impish, to be sure--she always claimed herself that she had devil's horns holding up her halo. We went to most of the Busch races at PPIR together. She was also one of the most big hearted people I ever knew.

Unfortunately for those of us who knew her, she suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in August of 2007 at the age of 44, way too young. She is still sorely missed by those of us who knew and loved her.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that, revv. It sounds like her passing left a very big hole in the universe.

Wow is right. For all these years I thought a site was a place where a structure or group of structures was, is, or is to be located. You know...like a campsite or something. Well gotta go and find my glasses to improve my eyesite and get ready to do a little site seeing tomorrow.
