I've been on a forum where the moderators were heavy handed and one sided, and it is hard to accept. If they felt that was the case I understand why they left.

But I wish they'd let it go and come back.
Life is too short to deny yourself being with the people you enjoy, even if it is on an interweb message board.

It was sad seeing 24girl tell some people here yesterday how much she missed them.

I hope that those that left will put the past behind them and give this place another chance.
This forum needs more active members IMO.
You hit the nail on the head..and Im so glad to be back, lifes too short and Im certainly willing to let bygones be bygones! Some that left are to hardheaded to let go of the past

I was around for most of that, and I will say that that thread does NOT tell the whole story.

And I wholeheartedly support your comment about the past should stay in the past.

Ridiculous, huh?
Tell me, when has JJ won 4 straight races?
When has JJ won 6 straight road course races?
When has JJ won 13 races in a single season?
When has JJ had 3 seasons with double digit wins?
Jeff Gordon was 34 points away from 3 straight championships in the mid 90's.
My statement was right on. The 48 team has never dominated like the 24 team did in the mid 90's.

Perhaps you should pay more attention to what you're replying to before you go around telling people how ridiculous their posts are?
This is the comment you replied to...

"But given the way the 24 team performed in the mid to late 90's can you blame us?
No team since that time]has come close to the domination of the 24 team from that era."

I'm talking about a period of about 4 years from the mid to late 90"s, and you're asking about 4 championships over the span of his entire career.

Pay attention?

Bah! Three championships in 3 years is pretty damn dominant. To say NO race team has shown Gordon's type of dominance is not right. Plus, I'd bet that JJ's run isn't quite over yet.
