I will try again to explain my point. I was watching who had their cars working and who didn't. Biffle and Stewart are on top of their game. The 24 ran midpack. The fact that biffle and stewart had problems isn't important. They ran well at a down force track, there are many of them on the circuit.

What are we supposed to say? That 'dupont boy' sucks? NOT! And alot of teams have not started out well but have come back and kicked but,it is just too early in the season to tell. I do agree that Jeff`s car wasn`t tuned in to perfection,he was tight,he was loose,etc.etc. That`s why they take notes.
Jeff would have done much better at Daytona if he hadn`t had problems.I think that is a factor,I would be concerned over a blown engine,no matter how well he was running before. All we 24 fans were saying was (and I`m going out on a limb here by speaking for myself and 24n48,LOL) we were happy with the finish he got.It could have been much worse, and at least he gained some points. His car wasn't competitive to run in the top ten. Everyone can spin it anyway they want, but this is a fact. I don't think that it should be grabbing the headlines. IF there isn't a more important story for the front page of nascar.com each of the last two days, they are in trouble. That is also a fact.
