They were up front, likely out of harms way... aka the big one... and not really racing.
Just riding until it was time to race.
When it was time to race, the doo doo hit the fan.

What bothered me is when Hamlin pushed Kyle passed Tony, Denny allowed Tony to get between him and Kyle. It seemed that Denny was too nice at that point.
He should have pressed the issue and kept Tony hung out, even if it meant some contact with Tony.
Denny should have given Tony no quarter at that point, but he didn't.
He was way too giving for the last lap.

Way to go Denny.
Would of been great if they had of worked together more, would of been great if Denny would have stayed with Kyle there at the end too. I hope they talk.

Bottom line is, Kyle was just not clear of Tony's car for that second attempt to block.

Nope, he wasn't. Someone said the spotter told him he was clear. I didn't look it up but if it is fact, that spotter has some expaining to do. imo I don't think he should take all the blame though, Kyle would have been better off to just fall back in line. Dang it!!!! lol

Kyle falling back in line when he has a shot at the win??????? That's a good one I'd wonder who was in the car!!

In the words of that famous spinach-eating sailor: "Ya pays ya nickle and ya takes ya chances."

If the spotter did tell him he was clear, that feller needs better binocs.

Or Kyle needs a better spotter.

I don't think anything could make him more aggressive than he already is. lol And that, my dear Raven, is what makes him a BLAST to watch, and really pisses off his detractors. I LOVE it.

I think if Kyle would have held his line instead of trying to make that last block attempt, he still had a shot at winning the race. There's no guarantee that TS could have completed the pass. It would have been one helluva drag race back to the s/f line.

No more aggressive? Oh no!!!! Don't tell me he'll never make it to Tony's aggressiveness level!?!? LOL

Not trying to tick off the Tony fans here but there are fans of Tony's on other forums that are so funny to read. They are the first to bash Kyle when he does something a more mild manner driver wouldn't do. LMAO

I too LOVE it when he gets some fans squalking LOL!

You're right. It would have been an exciting finish either way. But that way would not have been so costly ......

Thats true, but that was because he had several laps to do it.
I'm talking about the last lap.
He could have been hung out at that point and wouldn't have had enough time to recover.
