Winchester Speedway, VA

So instead of sitting on the couch getting all wound up over who put whom in the wall, or who went backwards, or "when's the big one gonna happen?" I took a trip (long one at that) up to Northern Virginia to see a neat old 3/8 mile dirt track, Winchester Speedway. Winchester Speedway is almost like a trip back in time, with it's concrete grandstands, white guardrails and high banks.

I think I overdid it with the number of pictures that I uploaded, but all 5 classes, from 4 cylinders to sprint cars and late models, all put on some great racing on the little track.

Not my website. The guy that runs it lives in Texas, and we've got guys in a number of states now. These were ones I took with my new camera(which is why there were so many)

This is the page that lists all of the photographers and writers. I'm 4th down on the right if you want to see sme more I've done (although I had a lot worse camera until just a couple weeks ago)

Jay Fish from NY is probably one of my favorites on the site (actually one of my favorites overall)
